Prestonpans Murals Trail

 

I was the Convenor of The Prestonpans Murals Trail from 2004 - 2012, as well as painting several of the murals, my role was to involve as many artists and members of the community as possible. I designed and painted The gothenburg ceiling mural, The Seawall (which contained 5 different murals), Sams Burns Gate, The Witches Memorable, Battle Of Prestopans Mural in a day and Cockenzie Powerstation Mural. 

The murals trail has now 55 murals/artworks and attracts thousands of visitors a year. Ramblers, Walkers, Cyclists, historical and cultural groups, a very wide range come to see the murals often through The John Muir Way.
