Murals

 

I am an artist whose work is mostly in a large scale, collaborative and usually in public and community settings. I started painting on streets in 1988. Murals are usually defined as an artwork that becomes part of an architectural structure. While some of the artwork falls into this defination most are temporary and moveable. I have completed over 60 murals in the UK and internationally. The largest being a quarter of a mile long in Oldham, many are often around 100 feet long or larger. Painting on a busy street is a unique experience, very different from working in a studio. I really enjoy working in a street. There is nothing better!
